I am Jay

Kia ora, I'm Jay: photographer, proud Ngati Hine / Ngati Kahungunu wahine and mum to three wild boys who keep life interesting (and loud). Two of my boys are on the autism spectrum, and honestly, they've taught me more about patience, connection and seeing the beauty in the little things than anything else ever could.

For the past six years, I've been lucky enough to turn my passion into my career, capturing weddings, families, and all the beautifully chaotic moments in between.

When I'm not holding a camera, you'll probably find me doing something that fills my cup: out foraging, casting a line somewhere with a fishing rod in hand, or spending quality time with my whanau. Give me a sunset, a quiet beach, a feed from the moana and my boys running around barefoot, and I'm exactly where I want to be.
